Busaba Williams

Busaba was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. She studied at the University of Washington. She co-owned an advertising agency in Sausalito, California before moving to Honolulu in 1995, where she owned a wholesales company selling souvenir products until 2006.

In 2005, she founded the Hawai’i Youth Bridge program and not long after became a Certified Bridge Director and Teacher for the American Contract Bridge League. She taught and directed bridge on a cruise line from 2009-2012. We don’t know where she gets the energy for she still finds time to play golf and tennis when she’s not playing pickleball!

Busaba has been a strong supporter of OPA where we can always count on her to help us whenever the need arises. She was named OPA’s Community Member of the Quarter. We have been fortunate to have her as a Board member since 2017, where she now serves as our current Treasurer.
