Places-to-Play

We got your back! One-stop-shopping for all skill levels and places-to-play.

Hosted Pickleball Sites

For temporary as well as established groups of pickleball players at public park sites, please visit the OPA Meetup. Since 2017, our Meetup has helped many new and existing players locate when and where to play as well as to find players they want to meet. It has served our pickleball community well for its key feature displays places-to-play by event/activity date and time. Meetup is FREE to join! Give it a try and let us know if you too found it helpful.

We suggest you also try USAPA’s Places 2 Play website. Both sites are available as mobile apps!

No-Host Pickleball Sites

Throughout Oahu, City & County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation has repurposed existing volleyball and tennis courts for pickleball. We are deeply appreciative of their efforts to help support the growth of pickleball and to provide us with places to play. In under seven years, there are now 191 pickleball courts at 95 parks!

All public pickleball courts require players to bring their own portable pickleball net — with the exception of the following:

  • Diamond Head Tennis Center has (1) permanent net paddle tennis/pickleball court,
  • Ke’ehi Lagoon Beach Park has (12) permanent net pickleball courts,
  • Mānana Neighborhood Park in Pearl City has (1) permanent net court, and
  • Mother Waldron Park in Kaka’ako has (2) permanent net courts.

JUMP to this list or the map below of Oahu’s outdoor public pickleball courts. The number of courts and courts with lights are noted.
