COVID-19 UPDATE – Friday, June 11, 2020

Per Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Emergency Order 2020-15, DOUBLES pickleball is permitted. However OPA recommends SINGLES pickleball is safest based on the Mayor’s orders:

1) Players of different households/living units must maintain 6ft physical distancing both on and off the courts, and face coverings should be worn.

2) Groups are limited to 10 individuals and no mixing of individuals between groups.

Please see the complete order here, https://www.honolulu.gov/rep/site/may/may_docs/Amendment_to_Hooulu_i_Honolulu_3.0.pdf

BEFORE you get back onto the courts, please read our supplemental guideline to USA Pickleball Association’s advisory: https://oahupickleballassociation.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/OPA-Supplemental-Guidelines-to-Playing-Pickleball-During-COVID-19_20200610.pdf
