COVID-19 UPDATE – Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Per City and County of Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Emergency Order 2020-22, DOUBLES pickleball is permitted. However OPA recommends SINGLES pickleball is safest based on the Mayor’s orders:

1) Players of different households/living units must maintain 6ft physical distancing both on and off the courts, and face coverings should be worn.

2) Groups are limited to 10 individuals and no mixing of individuals between groups.

Please see the complete order here, http://www.honolulu.gov/rep/site/may/may_docs/EO_2020-22.pdf. Specific to Outdoor Activities, refer to Items #18 and 19.

BEFORE you get back onto the courts, please read our supplemental guideline to USA Pickleball Association’s advisory: https://oahupickleballassociation.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/OPA-Supplemental-Guidelines-to-Playing-Pickleball-During-COVID-19_20200610.pdf

Play safe. We’re all in this together! Mahalo nui loa and E malama pono!
